iPhone J.D.

posted by Christy

Allie and I have a running technology debate wherein she makes snide comments about my e-reader and I make fun of her four year old flip phone.  So, I was shocked today when she told me that she was getting a "smart" phone.  I have an iPhone and I am totally obsessed with it.  I love that I can check my email, upload a blog, and check facebook all at the touch of a button and all on one device.

I came across this website called, iPhone J.D., which is a site that gives tips and advice for lawyers using the iPhone.  I wish I would have discovered this website sooner because while it gives general iPhone news and updates that can be readily found in the news, it also highlights news and apps that are specifically helpful to lawyers and the legal world.

Check it out.

HEY!  My four-year old flip phone is awesome- haha!  If you were stranded on a desert island would you rather have a book or an e-reader that you can’t charge?  I’m just saying…...

Christy, I’m glad that you found about about iPhone J.D., and thanks for spreading the word here to your readers.  I often hear from law students, who seem to find the iPhone just as useful as us practicing lawyers do.  Good luck with law school!

P.S. to Allie—Christy did not say what kind of smart phone you are planning to get, but I encourage you to consider the iPhone.  You’ll love it!
