Funny lawsuit Fridays

posted by Allie

Happy Friday, Everyone!

I never really intended to blog about funny/outrageous/weird lawsuits every Friday, but every week while I'm checking all my news sites, one seems to appear before my very eyes. This week's interesting lawsuit involves a high-power D.C. law firm that is suing a local burger joint for emitting fumes into the firm's air intake system.  The firm's employees have complained of everything from nausea to drowsiness.  Just this week the judge hearing the case ordered the burger place to quit emitting the fumes, or else.  (Find more info on this case on the WSJ law blog.)

Honestly, I can think of worse smells being piped into my office, but I can also think of better.  For example, I grew up near a donut/bread making factory, and every morning when I left my house I enjoyed the faintest aroma of freshly baked donuts -- kinda nice!

Well, I hope you all have had a great start to your classes this week! And more importantly, I hope you all enjoy your weekend!
