Do LSAT Prep Courses Really Boost Your Score?

posted by Christy

Based on my average test taking history I decided to take a Kaplan LSAT prep course to help better my chances of getting a good score on the LSAT and ultimately getting into law school.  Overall, I was really pleased and I'm pretty sure I would not have done as well on the test without the prep class.  Then I read this article yesterday and started to wonder how much my score was affected by the class.  Are we overly persuaded with ads like the Princeton Review's that claim to drastically boost your score?  I think there is something to say about the confidence the class gave me prior to taking the test, but did it really help my score?
